The American Board of Medical Physics began certifying applicants in the sub-specialty “MRI Physics for Radiation Therapy” in 2022. As part of the application process, individuals must hold a valid and current certification in Diagnostic Imaging Physics, Radiation Therapy Physics, or MRI Physics.
